Bala Krishnan C.

Bala Krishnan C. is the currently the business head of JLT Interactive an Insurance & Risk Management software company for the JLT Group. He has been in the Risk Management and Insurance consulting space for over 18 years and has been responsible for the development and delivery of several successful software products that have been deployed worldwide.

Bala is a leading expert on Product Management and governance and is an expert in the area of the Risk transfer Process from Client end to the Insurer and the Underlying Risk IT requirements. His field of expertise includes development of Enterprise Risk Management, global Insurance and Re-Insurance systems where he has played the roles of a strategic, functional and technology consultant. He has worked with several global multinationals and insurance companies in the areas like operational risk management, employee benefits, professional indemnity, Cargo and financial indemnity programs.

Bala has a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the prestigious Indian institute of Science. He holds a tertiary qualification in financial management and has also completed the ERM Diploma program from ARIMI.

Bala takes a keen interest in bridging the gap between the business and technology functions in large organisations and leverages on his expertise in functional and technology skills to make this possible. Besides Product Development and Management his current areas of interest include Data Analytics in the Enterprise Risk Management space.

Er Jwee Ping

Dr. Er Jwee Ping, Program Director of the Asia Risk Management Institute, is also an adjunct faculty with the NUS Business School and Singapore Management University. He has many years of experiences in teaching and consulting. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (1st Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore, an MA (Applied Economics) and PhD (Risk Management and Insurance) from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Jwee Ping has many years of risk management consulting experience alongside with his academic career. He has project managed numerous risk operational reviews, process and system design improvement projects. Organisations that he has worked with include the US EPA, the United Nations, the Singapore National Co-operatives Federation and the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Jwee Ping has invaluable exposure in dealing with a wide spectrum of working environments and cultures in this region. Throughout his multi-industry consulting experience, Jwee Ping has designed and conducted numerous programmes, seminars and workshops.

Jean-Paul Louisot

Professor Jean-Paul Louisot teaches ARM and FARM Programs. He has spent more than 30 years of his career to service private and public entities helping them manage their risks and coach their risk managers. His experience includes all sides of the “insurance triangle” as he has worked as a broker, an underwriter and a risk-manager.

Since 1993, Jean-Paul’s activity is mainly devoted to teaching both post graduate students and risk management professionals, while still acting as a part-time risk manager for a selected group of clients.

He is currently Academic Director for the CARM institute, limited company (Comprehensive Applied Risk Management Institute) preparing students for the professional designations ARM (Associate Risk Management) and EFARM (European Fellow in Applied Risk Management) in French speaking countries. He is a fellow of Peking University.

Beyond professional education, Jean-Paul teaches in several institutions at post graduate levels such as DESS or Masters. More specifically, he lectures at the DESS Gestion des Risques & des Crises – Cindyniques (La Sorbonne) and the DESS for Financial Institutions (Université de Toulouse). He introduces risk management to the Master in Finance (ESM Tours) and in some Engineering Schools (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint-Etienne, ENSI in Bourges and at the ISTG in Grenoble).

Jean-Paul has greatly contributed to the development of Risk Management in France through the translation and adaptation of the ARM courses in French. He has also published numerous articles and research studies on risk management in specialized publications and periodicals.

Jean-Paul is a civil engineer (École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint-Etienne, 1965), Master in Economics (Lyon 1968), Master in Business Administration (Kellog School of Management, 1972) and Associate in Risk Management (IIA, 1986). Through his wealth of experience and research work, Jean-Paul has become a leading authority in Europe in the field of Risk Management.

Jean Yves Le Corre

Jean Yves Le Corre is the Founder and Executive Director of InterauditAsia Co. Ltd, a consultancy specialised in training and coaching services for internal auditing, performance management and strategic planning in cross-cultural environments (China and Asia). InterauditAsia experience is based on extensive research with academics and practical experience gained through hands-on projects conducted with local consulting partners.

Jean-Yves is a former trainer at Ifaci (Institute of Internal Audit and Control) in Paris, a Certified Internal Auditor and a Sloan Fellow from London Business School; He holds a Master in Auditing from ESCP Europe as well as a Master in Engineering. He has more than 10 years of professional experience in internal audit in large multinationals in Europe, including Lafarge and Heineken Group where he led internal audit teams. Jean Yves settled down in China in 2005 and got extensive experience working practically in a multi-cultural environment.

Jean-Yves developed extensive experience in coaching and training local teams in Asia and especially in China where he conducted +55 seminars over the past 2 years. Jean Yves is based in China where he provides advisory and assistance to multinationals and Chinese companies on internal control, risk management and cross-cultural management.

Marc Ronez

Marc Ronez, Chief Risk Strategist & Master Coach of the Asia Risk Management Institute (ARIMI), is a well-known expert in Enterprise Risk Management, Strategy, Innovation, Corporate Governance, Business Ethics, Social Responsibility and Crisis Management, with about 20 years of experience accumulated through a variety of senior management positions in Europe and Asia for major worldwide corporations in the risk management, insurance and financial services industries.

Paul Clarke

Paul Clarke is the Regional Director for the Asian risk consulting operations of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc (JLT). JLT is amongst the largest global insurance and risk advisors and has a long and successful track record of working in Asia.

Based in Singapore for over 12 years, Paul has advised numerous Asian organizations on their strategic risk financing programs, captive insurance, strategic risk management and business continuity planning. His project portfolio has involved work for organizations drawn from all major industries. He has also served as the Asia-Pacific Regional Client Manager to a number of very large multinationals, managing and coordinating their regional insurance and risk management programs. Further, he has also managed the underwriting portfolio of a number of Singapore domiciled captive insurers. Over the years, Paul has been a frequent conference speaker on captives and other risk management topics.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Hons), Trinity College Dublin (Awarded 1st Class Honours for his dissertation on Captive Insurance) and is a member of the Institute of Risk Management (UK).
