ARiMI is home to some very energetic, talented and creative professionals, who spend many hours ensuring that the requirements of the participants to our programs and of the organizations that employ them have been exceeded.
The Asia Risk Management Institute (ARiMI) consists of a Central Office, located in Singapore - that manages the overall programs administration, curriculum development and research - and local campuses through our strategic partners in the different countries in which ARiMI operates to deliver the courses. The Central Institute is staffed with a Chief Risk Strategist who is responsible for the strategy and program development around the region, and an Executive Director who is responsible for the overall operations and administration of the Institute. It also houses a Program Director and experts in various fields related to Risk and Crisis Management.
The Central Institute Office is also responsible for Research and Development to create methodologies, tools and materials for our courses and programs that are delivered in Singapore and throughout the region.

Institute Administration: Marc Ronez, Chief Risk Strategist & Master Coach
Marc Ronez is the Chief Risk Strategist and Master Coach of the Institute and is responsible for the strategy and overall operation of the Institute. Marc also nurtures and maintains communication and relations at the CEO levels with our Sponsors and Partners. Prior to joining ARiMI, Marc has held a variety of senior positions in Europe and in Asia for major worldwide corporations accumulating over 19 years experience in the risk management, insurance and reinsurance industry. His specific areas of expertise include consulting on corporate strategy, organizational change strategy, crisis management, business turnaround and risk management system development and integration.
Marc has an MBA from the University of Chicago GSB, an MSc in Insurance and a LLM from the University of La Sorbonne. He is the Chairman the Asian Risk Management Society and former Vice-president of the Risk and Insurance Association of Singapore (RIMAS). Marc is a regular speaker at international insurance conferences, a contributor to the trade press, he has designed and animated numerous seminars/workshops and has also lectured on various insurance and risk management topics at several universities in Asia.

Institute Administration: Doureen D. Wu, Executive Director
Doureen D. Wu is Executive Director, Operations and Administration at ARiMI. Doureen is responsible for ensuring the institute’s operational excellence pertaining to the areas of program administration, business process management, quality control and procedures, client support and service.
Prior to her current appointment, Doureen has also served in various professional and senior managerial positions in the transport, industrial development and telecommunication industries. With 16 years of experience in corporate change management, quality service management and program development, Doureen has developed strong expertise in internal procedures and processes re-engineering, delivering great improvement in performance and efficiency for the organizations she worked for.
Doureen holds a B.Sc. with a major in Economics and a minor in Mathematics from the National University of Singapore, and an MBA from the Australian National University.

Institute Administration: Dr. Er Jwee Ping, Program Director
Jwee Ping is Program Director of the Institute. He is also an adjunct faculty with the NUS Business School and Singapore Management University. He has many years of experiences in teaching and consulting. Jwee Ping has many years of risk management consulting experience alongside with his academic career. He has project managed numerous risk operational reviews, process and system design improvement projects. Organizations that Jwee Ping has worked with include the US EPA, the United Nations, the Singapore National Co-operatives Federation and the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Jwee Ping has invaluable exposure in dealing with a wide spectrum of working environments and cultures in this region. Throughout his multi-industry consulting experience, Jwee Ping has designed and conducted numerous programs, seminars and workshops.
Jwee Ping holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (1st Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore, an MA (Applied Economics) and PhD (Risk Management and Insurance) from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
