CRA™ – Certified Risk Analyst

Modern Organisations have now to operate in global business environment fraught with exponentially increasing volatility and complexity. There are risks regardless of whatever path and activities are pursued. The key question is: "How can I make confidently major strategic and operational decisions in a way that optimize the balance between opportunity and risk?” To answer that question, you will need to build a risk mapping and profiling model that relates clearly organizational performance with risk management.

Hence, the essential purpose of the CRA™ program is to equip participants with the methodologies and tools necessary to conduct comprehensive assessment and mapping of risks profiles in projects and organizations. The program aims to develop highly effective risk decision-makers able to identify, analyze and manage Risks and Opportunities to ensure optimal level performance level for their organizations.

The CRA™ Program is conducted by the Asia Risk Management Institute (ARiMI), the leading Professional Development Institute in Enterprise Risk Management in Asia.

Objectives of Program

CRA™ is your passport to mastering the Risk Assessment and Decision-making process!

The aim of the program is to develop the capabilities to resolve their organization risk management challenge. Consequently, CRA™ gives participants:

Objective 1: An integrated, cross-disciplinary understanding (from Strategy, Finance to Psychology) of the key risk assessment concepts, issues, methodologies, tools and best practices

Objective 2: A better Risks identification method and process (Surveys/Interviews/Workshops) that make threats and opportunities (including "Black Swans") more visible and measurable so that they can be analyzed effectively

Objective 3: A practical knowledge of effective risk analysis and mapping tools (quantitative & Qualitative), as well as the analytical ability to interpret data and support effective decision-making

Objective 4: The capability to improve corporate planning & decision-making by allocating and using scarce resources to relevant risk/opportunties issues through the application of Risk methodologies & tools

Modular Structure for Busy Professionals

To allow participants to integrate our program into their work schedule, the CRA™ Program takes place in 2 modular periods (approximately separated by 4 to 5 weeks). Each period on campus is either 1 or 3 days.

Busy professionals who are not based in Singapore only need to make 2 trips to Singapore.

Program Modules

The CRA™ Program consists of 4 workshop modules and provides a comprehensive and structured learning path, both in scope and depth, covering:

 

The Learning Journey

The 4 workshop modules are spread over 2 months. This modular structure of the program allows participants coming from all over Asia to balance work and study at the same time. The physical time on site represents 4 days as follows:

  • Attend 2 foundational certificate modules (CCM1 & CCM8)
  • Attend 2 core certificate modules (CCM2 & CCM3)

To obtain the Certification, participants are required to pass successfully the required Assessment to qualify for accreditation purposes (more information in Section: Program Assessment).

 

Program Assessment

Assessment is necessary to ensure the quality of the graduates by reviewing the candidate's ability to meet the requirements of the professional certification.

  • Certified Risk Analyst (CRA™) Designation by ARiMI
