ATTENDANCE

Class attendance and participation significantly add to the overall learning experience. Therefore, attendance at all classes is mandatory and will be taken into consideration when grading.

If attendance is below 85%, you are not eligible to take the exam or receive the designation.

MISSING MODULES

If a full module or more has to be missed for a personal or professional emergency, please follow the procedure specified under Rescheduling Certain Modules.

CLASS PARTICIPATION & COURSE WORK

Class participation will be taken in account when grading. Elective modules will be assessed solely on class participation and coursework.

FIELD STUDY

After the first week of class, you will receive instructions to conduct a field study on risk management. The purpose of the field study is to give you an opportunity to explore practical implications of risk management in your work for your immediate benefit.

This paper is due one week after the second week of classes.

CORE MODULES EXAM

On the last day of the second week of classes, you will sit for a paper exam covering all core modules. The 2-hour final exam will consist of 60 Q&As. The exam will be open book.

AFTER THE EXAMINATION

The instructor will go through the answers immediately after the core module exam. This will give students a chance to review their understanding of key risk management concepts.

EXAMINATION GRADING REPORT

Two weeks after the completion of all elective modules, students will receive a grade report detailing the grade received and whether they successfully earned the designation.

FAILING GRADE

If a CPRM student receives a failing grade (F), arrangements must be made with the course director to rectify the situation.

CERTIFICATES

The Asian Risk Management Institute (ARiMI) will process the Certified Professional Risk Manager (CPRM) certificate two weeks after sending out the Examination Grading Report to students.

To obtain the certificate, students must have provided ARiMI with full personal and business details.
