Dr. Er is the Program Director of Asian Risk Management
Institute (ARIMI). He is also an adjunct faculty with the NUS Business
School and Singapore Management University. He has many years of experiences
in teaching and consulting. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (1st
Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore, an MA(Applied
Economics) and PhD(Risk Management and Insurance) from Wharton School,
University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Er has many years of risk management consulting experience alongside
with his academic career. He has project managed numerous risk operational
reviews, process and system design improvement projects. Organizations
that he has worked with include the US EPA, the United Nations, the
Singapore National Co-operatives Federation and the Singapore Chinese
Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Dr. Er has invaluable exposure in
dealing with a wide spectrum of working environments and cultures
in this region. Throughout his multi-industry consulting experience,
Dr. Er has designed and conducted numerous programs, seminars and
workshops.
